One may wonder how one mama gets around with three babies who are under two. How do you go on a walk? Run an errand? My saving grace has been our wagon and I get A LOT of questions about it. So I’m using this post as a way to explain how we have used and LOVED our W4 Wonderfold. I’ll also explain anything I didn’t like about it at the end.
First off, I did a lot of research on wagons and came to the general conclusion that the Wonderfold wagon was the way to go. You can get the W4 or W2. The difference between the two is the W4 has 2 benches with 2 buckles on each bench and the W2 has 2 benches with 1 buckle on each bench. The W4 is a wider than the W2, so keep that in mind! The W4 was our choice because we needed it to hold 3 kids. I can take one of the benches out, and place the baby carrier on the top of the wagon. It doesn’t click in or is fully secured but it fits, which is all I could ask for! The other bench I used for buckling in my other two kiddos when they were younger.
Now that Harrison is 8 months he can sit up and be buckled in, the girls are now two so I don’t buckle them in. They can stand or move seats if they want to. I can take a bench out and they can sit on the ground. So nice and roomy! I bring snacks and iPads if I know we’re going shopping, or something they don’t want to do, and let them sit on the ground of the wagon and watch a movie. There is also a canopy that is included so it helps keep them shaded on our hot Oklahoma days. The zipper pouch connected to the back has been great for carrying snacks, drinks, my phone, and any bags if we go out.
Now for my negatives on our wagon! Let me start by saying two things, this is not a sponsored post. It is all of my honest opinions and thoughts. Second, even with these negatives I would purchase the Wonderfold all over again. That being said, it is HEAVY and BULKY. It doesn’t fit in the trunk of a lot of cars. Make sure you have a HUGE trunk or truck if you’re planning in on bringing it places with you. It does fold, but is still bulky. Also, it is heavy to pick up and even to push, it’s 63 pounds alone. Going up hills with this wagon has given this momma some much need arm muscles! The second thing, the handle bar is short. I feel like I’m constantly bending down to push. Wonderfold is currently sold out of the extender and I’ve yet to find any others. We have the W4 Original, there are two other wagon options the Luxe and Elite. They both have adjustable handles that raise about 6 inches so that can help. They are a bit pricier, which brings me to the last drawback: the price. Our original was $595, the Luxe is $899.
